Ley 1098 de 2006 - Código Infancia y Adolescencia

Este código tiene por finalidad garantizar a los niños, a las niñas y a los adolescentes su pleno y armonioso desarrollo para que crezcan en el seno de la familia y de la comunidad, en un ambiente de felicidad, amor y comprensión. Prevalecerá el reconocimiento a la igualdad y la dignidad humana, sin discriminación alguna.

The purpose of this code is to guarantee children, girls and adolescents their full and harmonious development so that they may grow up in the bosom of the family and the community, in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding. The recognition of equality and human dignity will prevail, without any discrimination.
